- September 12—Corrina, Corrina—When Manny Singer's wife dies, his young daughter Molly becomes mute and withdrawn. PG, 115 mins.
- September 19—This Time for Keeps-- A singing soldier (Johnny Johnston) newly returned home finds himself discontent to work in his father's opera company or pick up where he left off with his girlfriend. Not rated (1947 film, so probably quite tame), 105 mins.
- September 26—Ever After--With the sudden death of her loving father, Danielle is made a servant by her new stepmother. She also has two new stepsisters, one quite kind but the other one really horrid.PG-13, 121 mins
- October 3—The Ghost and Mrs. Muir-– In 1900, a young widow finds her seaside cottage is haunted...and forms a unique relationship with the ghost. Not rated (1947, so probably quite tame), 104 mins.
- October 10–-Step Mom-- A terminally-ill mother has to settle on the new woman in her ex-husband's life, who will be their new stepmother. PG-13, 124 mins.
- October 17—Blue Hawaii-– Chad Gates has just gotten out of the Army, and is happy to be back in Hawaii with his surf-board, his beach buddies, and his girlfriend. PG, 102mins.
- October 24—Hans Christian Andersen— A completely fabricated biography of the famous Danish fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen featuring several of his stories and a ballet performance of "The Little Mermaid". G, 112 mins
- October 31—Toy Story 2--When Woody is stolen by a toy collector, Buzz and his friends vow to rescue him, but Woody finds the idea of immortality in a museum tempting. G, 92 mins
